A kitchen with bespoke details
Martini Arredamenti, a shop located in Parma and specialising in high-end kitchens has been working with the Key Cucine brand for many years.
The most recent project, the one that set the seal on this partnership, takes us into an exceptional setting in the heart of Parma, was the restoration of the ex-Convent of San Quintino. This historic building dates back to the 12th century and is located next to the church of the same name. The restoration, under the supervision of the Fine Arts Heritage, led to the creation of luxury apartments, one of which, with its stunning architectural features and fascinating style has seen Martini work together with Key for the design and creation of a kitchen.
A surprising inner courtyard and large spaces are characteristic of the setting, with an open-plan living room and kitchen that forming a whole with great elegance. Every detail here has been curated to recreate a seamless whole: metallic bronze lacquered doors, paired with the golden tones of the brass taps and the super-light shades of the top with bevelled edges. This is made in Corian, a particularly ductile material that allows jointing to be made practically invisible. There are no wall cabinets and the extraction hood has replaced by a concealed system integrated into the induction system. The walls have been decorated with large cornices in stucco. The lighting is directed onto the work top and recessed into the lowered ceiling.
Essential styling that reveals mastery for this type of prestigious work and a successful partnership between two excellent businesses, for guaranteed reliability and top-level results. As shown by the words of Daniela and Graziano Martini, owners of Martini Arredamenti and their daughter Giulia who, at present, represents a distinguished resource in the company: “We have been working with Key Cucine for 30 years. What makes this company stand out is its incredible ability to customise a room. Key Cucine is particular for its ability to provide specifically tailored products in a sector where the trend is for mass production. Only Key can come up with certain solutions.”
