Style details: the art of bespoke kitchen doors
Detail, design, style. Kitchen doors are all of this and much more: they affect the function and efficiency of the entire kitchen. Their choice must be designed to meet the other elements in the composition seamlessly, according to the customer's taste and needs. And details is what makes Key Cucine's doors so unique, original and elegant.
Key Cucine designers have always devoted great care in designing the kitchen doors, with new materials and special structures, enhanced by specially selected colours.
The full-height frame door with matt lacquering of the Factory model is the perfect example of a constant search for and great design capacity. And the door detail, with special concealed handles, makes the entire composition very powerful, while maintaining Key Cucine's typical elegance.
Key's experience translates into sophisticated environments and sought-after decorative choices, such as Strip, a kitchen that celebrates its scenic nature through its doors. Strip combines two different door models: the first made of Canaletto walnut wood, and the second made of liquid metal with soft touch finish... an unexpected pairing for a bold kitchen.
Twins, with two large "twin" islands, in an elegant kitchen, perfectly integrated with the living. Here too, doors play a fundamental role. Innovative and surprising, they cover the walls, floor to ceiling; they are big yet lightweight, and they slide seamlessly thanks to the choice of honeycomb aluminium, which provides stability and gentleness. In Key kitchens, technical quality is always flanked by aesthetics: and the special powder coating makes the door silky and long-lasting.
Elegance is the best word to describe Haiku, the Oriental-inspired kitchen, where elegance is enhanced by clean and minimal doors, with an extra-thin handle, which, in the island central section, highlights the division between the doors and the drawers on top. And, as the perfect expression of the technical ability achieved by Key Cucine designers, the doors complement the kitchen top, creating a perfect continuity between the two elements.
Technical and design skills are supported by a constant search for materials and colours that best fit each composition. Nothing is left to chance, and Tai_O is the perfect example of this. The latest project presented by Key Cucine in 2024 features unique materials that convey an unprecedented sense of uniqueness and exclusivity. And the doors are made of a rare material, with an amazing colour: thousand-year-old fossil oak, whose dark colour is due to the wood oxidation process.
The craftsmanship philosophy of the company based in Vicenza creates high-end kitchens of premium quality, where every detail is curated for meticulously. As you can see, doors are a fundamental and characterizing detail in all the models, and define their personality, creating compositions in line with the company's aesthetic and functional standard, to meet the customer's taste and needs.
